# Terms of Use

Effective Date: August 17, 2026

These Terms govern your access to Vord’s AI services, APIs, account features, and device-held Credits.

### Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and VORD AI, INC. (“Vord,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of vordai.io, our APIs, and related services (the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

You must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use the Services for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

### The Service

Vord provides access to AI models, tools, developer interfaces, and related features. Features, models, routes, limits, pricing, and availability can change. Labels such as “Available,” “Beta,” or “Coming Soon” in our documentation describe current product status and do not guarantee future availability.

You may use supported guest features without an account. Other features may require an account, payment, device-held credentials, or additional terms.

### Acceptable use

You may not use the Services to:

* Violate law, infringe rights, or facilitate fraud, abuse, exploitation, or harm.
* Distribute malware, bypass safeguards, probe systems without permission, or disrupt the Services.
* Misrepresent AI output as human-generated where disclosure is required.
* Use automated means in a way that exceeds published limits or burdens the Services.
* Resell or provide access to the Services except through an authorized Vord program or written agreement.

Access to models described as uncensored or assigned particular traits does not waive these Terms or guarantee unrestricted model behavior.

### Your content and AI output

You retain rights you have in content you submit. You grant Vord a limited license to process that content only as needed to provide, secure, and operate the Services. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit it.

AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable. You must review output before relying on or publishing it. The Services do not provide legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice, and should not be used as the sole basis for high-impact decisions.

### Payments, subscriptions, and Credits

When paid features are offered, you authorize the stated charges, taxes, and recurring fees shown at checkout. If subscriptions are offered, cancellation and continued access follow the checkout-specific terms shown when you purchase, subject to applicable law.

Vord Credits are blind-signed, device-held bearer credentials protected by P2PK keys. Anyone with the corresponding proof and private-key material can spend them; exporting that material transfers practical spending control. Vord does not provide a cash-out or exchange service, guarantee a third-party transfer, or recover credentials lost from your device.

Purchases and Credits are subject to our Refund Policy. Protocol settlement that returns unused reserved Credits is not a card or cash refund.

### Privacy and account security

Our Privacy Policy describes how we handle information. Privacy properties differ by model route; review the live model catalog and route metadata before relying on a privacy claim.

You are responsible for account access, devices, recovery keys, Credits, and private-key material under your control. Notify us promptly if you believe your account or payment method has been compromised.

### Third-party services

The Services may rely on third-party model providers, tools, payment processors, links, or open-source software. Their services may have separate terms and privacy practices. Vord is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

### Availability and termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Services, including a model or route. We may limit or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, fail to pay, or if required for security or legal reasons.

You may stop using the Services at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.

### Disclaimers and limits of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or accuracy of AI output.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vord and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business interruption.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so these limits may not apply to you.

### Changes and contact

We may update these Terms. Material changes will apply prospectively, and we will provide notice when required. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept them.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to <hi@vordai.io>.
